With Labor Day right around the corner, it’s important to squeeze in some last-minute summer fun before it’s too late. To help you take advantage of these last summer weeks, we’ve compiled a list of the top New York Rooftop Bars that you need to visit before fall arrives. Whether you live in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or anywhere else in the boroughs, there’s something for everyone.


1. Pod 39 (145 East 39th Street, New York, NY)

Located in NYC’s bustling midtown, Pod 39 opened its doors in 2012, and has been a bar favorite for locals and tourists alike ever since. Sporting a grand view of the Empire State Building, Pod 39 the perfect place to watch day turn to night.



2. Level R (44 West 63rd Street, New York, NY)

3. Night of Joy (667 Lorimer Street, Brooklyn, NY)

Placed in the middle of Williamsburg, “Night of Joy” promises just that. With a happy hour starting at 5PM and ending 8PM, Night of Joy is the perfect place to start or end your night.



4. The Z Roof Rooftop Bar (11-01 43rd Ave, Queens, NY)

If you’re looking to find one of the best views of the New York skyline, there are few better than the one you’ll get from the Z Hotel’s Z Roof.  Opening in 2011, The Z Roof Rooftop Bar offers a 360-view panoramic view of New York City. One visit, and it’ll be easy to see why we included Z in our list.


5. Pine Bar + Grill (1634 Eastchester Rd Bronx, NY)

If you’re interested in great food, great drinks, and a great time, Pine Bar and Grill is the place for you. Located in the Bronx, Pine boasts a Manhattan-style ambiance with a unique bar, dining area, old-school pizzeria, and, of course, a rooftop bar.
