Best New York Beach Wedding Venues

The beach has always been innately romantic. The freedom of taking off your shoes. The fresh smell of the ocean. The lullaby of the tide. The beach exudes a feeling of freedom that’s ideal for a wedding.

Best New York Beach Wedding Venues

Although there are plenty of ‘waterfront’ or ‘beachside’ locations around NYC where couples can marry, there are only so many places locations where you can get hitched right on the sand. So today we’re going to get our feet wet with five beach locations where you can tie the knot in style.

1. The Pavilion At Sunken Meadows

This beautiful venue run by Lessings offers outdoor ceremonies on the north shore of Suffolk County, at the end of a boardwalk looking out over Long Island Sound. Just over two hours’ drive from Manhattan, the reception space is a gorgeous wooden pavilion with floor-to-ceiling windows, which also happens to be right on the beach.

2. Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa

Gurney’s Montauk Resort, with its 2,000 foot long private beach, boasts a wide variety of locations for both wedding ceremonies and receptions. Couples can choose to celebrate in banquet room, on various decks, or in casual dining spots, as well as on the beach itself. Located on the very eastern tip of Long Island, the resort offers many luxuries of its own: guests can treat themselves to a Finnish rock sauna, some rounds on their ice skating rink, or just a cocktail on the beach.

3. Land’s End Weddings

Land’s End, looking out over Great South Bay, is a secluded venue in the middle of Long Island which hosts just one event at a time. If your guests are feeling tired of the beach, they can explore the gorgeous property, complete with outdoor firepit, private beach, and a private mansion with its grand ballroom and canopied outdoor decks.

4. The Sands Atlantic Beach

With space to host up to 700 guests, this Nassau County location is great for larger weddings. Located in Long Beach, The Sands Atlantic Beach has a 60-year legacy in weddings – not to mention a freshly-renovated ballroom and an array of other locations for receptions ranging from intimate to epic in scale.

Planning a wedding at one of these locations is enough to get your heart fluttering long before saying, “I do.” But nothing helps ease your mind like choosing a professional limo company – one which obsesses over the little details that make up the big day. Check out our weddings page to see how Luxor limousines can make your celebration magical.

Beach weddings are so romantic with soft sand, cool ocean breeze and gorgeous sunset in the distance. I've attended one of my friend's most romantic beach wedding in NYC.
