Nature enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that this year’s 11th Annual Wild Night for Wildlife Gala is coming up this weekend on Saturday, July 15th. A benefit to support the wildlife sanctuary and its fur- and feather-covered residents, the gala will feature a broad selection of hors d’oeuvres from Dockers Waterside, wine from Martha Clara Vineyard, and a live music performance from Souled Out. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet some of the sanctuary’s animals in person, and participate in live and silent auctions whose proceeds help support the location’s livelihood.
26th Annual Summer Gala
Among Hamptons events, few are as respected or as important as the Annual Summer Gala, which is hosted by, and serves as a fundraiser for, Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theater. With performances and presentations from leading Broadway stars – which have included such notables as Julie Andrews, Alec Baldwin, Billy Joel and Alan Alda in the past – you’re sure to be both entertained and moved by the occasion. The event also includes hors d’oeuvres, an unforgettable dinner, dancing and auctions that all go to support the center and its artists. 24th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit & Auction
On July 29th in Water Mill, New York, arrives the 24th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit and Auction. Originally serving as an artistic base and creative incubator for theater director Robert Wilson, the center has grown into a place for young and emerging artists to explore their work in the humanities and sciences. As you’d expect, this year’s event combines the best in art, performance, music, theater and design – with the added benefit of a stunning feast, drinks and auctions for guests.
